Welcome to Horse Illustrated’s weekly installment of the My Right Horse Adoptable Horse of the Week, offered in partnership with The Right Horse. Ellis Offspring is this week’s adoptable horse. Check back weekly for a new featured horse so you can find your #righthorse.
Adoption Organization: Kentucky Equine Adoption Center
Ellis Offspring does have some rotation due to past laminitis, but she is pasture sound. She wears front shoes in order to help keep her soles happy. Ellis is sound enough for occasional rides, but can really only do a walk and light trot. She is not suited for any kind of strenuous riding. She’s very flashy and would make a nice companion for another horse, as well as a light riding partner for someone.
