Get to Know Adoptable Horse Whenelephantsfly

Standing at 16-plus hands high, Whenelephantsfly never raced and last worked on July 7, 23. “Elephant” retired with arthritis and chips in his left hind coffin joint, and two screws in the left front canon bone. He will most likely need supplements or injections to maintain soundness, though he is currently sound. He will be suitable for trails or very low level flat work. He was castrated on January 26, 2024.

Elephant is a gorgeous gelding with a fun personality. He seems intelligent and is kind. He likes to pull at your coat or pants while being groomed, but it is playful behavior and he is gentle. He enjoys interacting with people and will follow you around. He seems curious about his surroundings. He keeps to himself in the stall and is good while out.

Elephant loves to be groomed and is very animated with his tongue and mouth while being curried and brushed. He did not shy away from the cross ties or longe line his first time on them. A seemingly intelligent horse, he is very well mannered, a joy and clown to work with. He is sure to be a barn favorite.

A striking horse to look at, Elephant will make a fun partner out on the trails. He also likes to look at himself in the arena mirror. He will need an experienced beginner and up rider. He is overcoming insecurities under saddle and is getting more confident and relaxed with each ride.
