Adoptable Horse: Espresso, a 4-year-old 15.1hh Thoroughbred gelding Organization: Win Place Home, Inc., Canyon Country, Calif.
This week’s adoptable horse, Espresso, is a very sweet and mellow off-the-track Thoroughbred. Espresso broke his left front fetlock and had an arthrodesis surgery performed at the beginning of 2022 to stabilize the joint with a plate and screws. As a result of his injury, he is looking for a non-riding therapy program or companion home.
Espresso enjoys being groomed, hanging with his people friends, and being a part of something. Even though he is young, there is an old soul within him that understands how to speak deeply.
