Paige Billek, DVM, is a polo-playing veterinarian whose practice, Integrative Equine
Performance Medicine, specializes in preventative and sports medicine. After graduating
from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, Paige went on to
earn certifications in acupuncture, medical manipulation and rehabilitation and
performance medicine. Listen in to gain insights from a vet and fellow horsewoman who is passionately dedicated to help horses feel and perform their best, and hear her thoughts on the growing equine vet shortage plus advice for aspiring equine vets.
Available for adoption from The American Saddlebred Legacy Foundation, Inc. in Kentucky, American Saddlebred SH Admiral Blacklaw is as sweet as the day is long. Kind, willing, and smart, this 6-year-old gelding is full of potential. He is quick learner and ready to start training for groundwork and under saddle. SH Admiral Blacklaw will make a phenomenal partner and likely could be a great beginner, kid horse or lesson horse one day soon with the right training. While he may be smaller in size, he makes up for it with his heart and mind. Price is negotiable for the right home.
