Elizabeth Orris has been riding since before she could walk, and now owns and operates her late mother’s horse business: Hunter Spring Farm in Pennsylvania. At the end of episode 8 of Barn Banter, we talk to Amanda Stevens, the equine trainer from the Humane Society of North Texas. This month’s ASPCA Right Horse adoptable horse of the month is Atlas, a 20-year-old Mustang gelding available for adoption in Joshua, Texas, near Fort Worth.

Atlas arrived at HSNT in need of patience, love, and lots of groceries. He also needed his left eye removed. Now healthy, he’s ready to find his perfect person who will treat him right for the rest of his days. Atlas is young at heart and loves to run, buck and play in the pasture. He requires an intermediate handler but is super willing once he trusts you and has bonded closely with several staff members at the ranch.

Learn more about Atlas here.
