Megan, From Virginia...Our private barn has about six boarders. It's OK for two or three to be there, provided they follow social distancing regulations, do not use others' tools (such as rakes, etc.), and disinfect wheel barrow handles, stall handles, door handles, any other general areas we touch, just before leaving. We all wear gloves, of course. We maintain the 6 foot or more, rule, when talking, and do so mainly outside. The barn owner continues with private lessons, and those are scheduled with space in between to permit us to groom and clean up, before the next lesson. We also do what many seem not to do (I never know why): just go out every other day (non-lesson days) and hand-walk the horses, on a nice path or trail, on our own, staying near on on the property, or do liberty work/play in the arena. Horses really enjoy switching the work around, and they enjoy some play and a chance to be independent and take a little 'sabbatical' in the middle of a session. We have spa time and massage time, which they also enjoy.Good health and safety to all.Nuala Galbari
