The contest is open to amateur photographers only. One entry per person. Multiple entries will be discarded. Entries should be focused, high-resolution photos at 300 dpi (sized 3″ x 5″ or larger) taken in a hazard-free environment. With your submission, please include the following:

Deadline
The deadline for entries is June 1, 2010. Photos accompanied by incomplete entries and those that do not meet the entry requirements will not be eligible. All entries become the property of Horse Illustrated and cannot be acknowledged or returned. The judge’s decisions are final, and the winners will be notified by mail or e-mail.

I can't wait to submit a picture!! I opened my new Horse Illustrated magazine this morning and saw there was a photo contest!! So excited!!
Yipee, a photo contest. I do enjoy them so much...grabbed my camera, my dog and horse and headed out to try and get a cute photo!
We are horse camera junkies sooooo love any contests. When we have grandchildren and they train horses....there is always a laugh,

I try every year to get a good pic for the contest but when i get the Horse Illustrated w/ the winning photos there always sooo much better than mine! Its a lot of fun anyway!!!
I would think that the "horse of many faces" should win. He looks like he just won the lottery! Lucky horse.
