Old Friends

Give yourself a few minutes of quiet time in the tackroom or sit amongst some of your horsey treasures. Is there someone you should call today, just to say hello and pass along holiday greetings and good wishes for the New Year? Think about a former riding instructor who taught you how to post the trot, or a former barn buddy who’s moved on to another stable. What about a horse show pal you only see on the circuit, or a fellow horse lover who lives so far away that the two of you correspond only via email? Track down their phone number and give them a ring. Reconnecting with an old acquaintance might be one of the best parts of your holiday season.
