We do need more qualified good instructors out there. But is it really worth it to get a certification with the little money most instructors make? Hmmm.....
NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicap Assoc.) is always looking for candidates for Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors. I'm currently going thru the process & learning an amazing amount of information valid not just for TR but raising my own horses!
Seems they aren't as interested in Creating an instructor, that will give a student the opportunity, to ride and enjoy horses safely, it's like they're just worried about how insurable an instructor is...
