I use "Easy Pick" twice cleaned bagged sawdust. Worth the extra money to not have the dust of shavings or pellets.
When I lived in Arizona, I used rice hulls. They are great! They do not attract flies. You can take the rice hulls that the horses urinated on and rinsed it with water outside and reuse it. Living in Michigan, no one has any knowledge of the product. It comes from California,
