Caution! Horses

I once heard an old horseman say, “Horses have a designated place to die and they spend their entire lives looking for it.” And it does seem that some horses have extremely hard luck and are very prone to accident and injury.



But let’s look at a few hazards that seem to hurt our horses over and over that we have some control over; the things that take me away from the family picnic to patch up.
