Though I would never consider putting my nice Troxel helmets in the dishwasher, this was a good point blank article that I learned a bit from. I usually polish up my helmet after every use with a damp cloth and just leave it on a shelf under a dry towel with one of those balls that you can put in your athletic shows under it. You can get those anti-smelly shoe things at generally any store- but I have yet to see them at the gas station!
