That is absolutely magnificent! Tulip and Carr are a wonderful inspiration, and that is what I call real "strength". Way to go, and keep going strong you two! =D
WOW!! I'm thinking about doing endurance riding w/ my Appaloosa. I hope my horse will live to be 20. I'm so glad that the both of them are still going strong.
It really shows the vaule of an older horse. That it can still compete at age 20 is a great privledge. They should really enjoy their senior citizen!
That is awsome! I love the fact that he is 20 and not being casted out for a younger horse. Way to go Tulit and owner
I have an Appaloosa mare who is 20 who is still going strong doing Endurance with the Scottish Endurance riding club.I have been competing with her since she was 5. We too have tended to be back markers in race rides and average about 6-7mph i certainly think that its speed that wears out horses quicker than distance. Lots of my Endurance friends have been through 2or 3 horses in the same time i've had Jade.We have 6500 miles with SERC and will also have about another 1000miles unaccounted miles with the old EHPS and BERA. Appys certainly have lots of stamina.
