Arabian Sport Horse Nationals begins tomorrow at the Kentucky Horse Park

For nine years, Arabians competing in hunter/jumper, dressage and carriage driving have had their own national show. The Arabian and Half-Arabian Sport Horse National Championship Show features the sportier side of this versatile breed.

Approximately 500 horses are expected to compete at this year’s championship. Three arenas allow for plenty to see during the five days of competition. Sport horse under saddle, sport horse in hand, show hack and carriage classes will primarily be held in the Kentucky Horse Park’s covered arena while three dressage rings will run simultaneously in the Rolex Arena. Hunters, jumpers and hunt seat equitation will take place daily in the Johnson Arena.

Admission to the show is free with Kentucky Horse Park admission.
