The Pasadena Tournament of Roses is an annual
tradition to kick off the New Year. The parade began in the 1890s as a way for
Californians to celebrate the beautiful weather and abundance of flowers
available even in the middle of winter. Today, it is held in conjunction with
the Rose Bowl college football game.

This year’s parade takes place on Monday, Jan. 2 at
8:00 a.m. Pacific Time (11 a.m. Eastern). The parade will be broadcast live on
HGTV, RFD-TV and The Hallmark Channel. NBC will air the Rose Parade at 11 a.m.
in all time zones.
The parade will also be broadcast
locally in Los Angeles on KTLA5 and Univision 34. For more information, click
