What a wonderful opportunity! I'm going to tell my horse friends about it. I've not heard of the AHA Beach Ride til today. I can't make it this year but hoping to participate & raise funds for next year!!
It was so much fun and a great cause, looking forward to next year, this was my first year. It was so great seeing alot of supporters out there and My son is a heart survivor, and i will be glad to join it again, thanks for everyone out there supporting this and hope to see you all out there next ride.....I loved it... 2 thumbs up...
My comment is about the 2014 Event-we drove over 250 miles one way for a VERY disappointing trip NOT to see HORSES on the beach this year!! We have attended for the last 15 to 20 years and can NOT believe they would not let the horses go the usual route up Myrtle Beach. Please pass on the word this will HURT the beach business for November!!
That year, it was high tide. That's why the horses did not go that way. You can go to Myrtle Beach State park. The whole week there are horses on the beach. Depending on which way they go for the big ride, horses can bee seen at surfside beach or the state par.
