Horses featured in Lifetime Network reality show

One of the equine stars of the upcoming Designing Pet Spaces episode at the Chattanooga Horse Trams stables in Tennessee.

Edited Press Release

Sweet PDZ® announced today its partnership with Designing Spaces™ television show, which airs on the Lifetime Network. The upcoming three part series covers life at the McKamey Animal Center in Chattanooga, TN and will showcase the Center’s makeover that the Designing Spaces team provided with the help of sponsorship partners, including Sweet PDZ® Horse Stall Refresher.

Tom Menner, President of PDZ Co., LLC, said, “Sweet PDZ is very excited about its selection to be involved with this award winning show where we can educate and inform a large audience on the proper approach to horse and pet odor control and stall hygiene.” The Sweet PDZ® segment was filmed at the Chattanooga Horse Trams stable, a local business that provides horse carriage tours in the city. Menner indicated that “this barn provided a real world environment and a respiratory health concern that most horse owners face off to every day.”

This pet specific series, known as Designing Pet Spaces™, inspires viewers to make every space count, and to enjoy the space they live in. The show’s mission is to educate, empower and to entertain audiences with informative solutions to fit their lifestyle. Mr. Menner acknowledged that “this opportunity fits perfectly with Sweet PDZ’s mission to educate folks on the importance of eliminating ammonia and odors from barns and maintaining a healthy environment for all. Odor control is key to keeping a healthy and happy horse and pet.” This series provides a new media platform for Sweet PDZ® to showcase itself as a safe, natural and Earth friendly solution to odor concerns in horse stalls and pet habitats.

The episode featuring Sweet PDZ’s segment on a non-toxic solution to ammonia and odor problems will air on Thursday, January 24th at 7:30 a.m., and thereafter can be viewed 24/7 on the Designing Spaces website.

The episode is being rebroadcast on Lifetime on March 28, 2013 at 7:30 a.m.

  • These ideals are "nice to dream", but in the real world, not alway practical, unless you board. But with boarding then you pay more with these conditions. Here, where the temps, all winter are around 10 to below zero, it is hard to cleam barns daily, and then to store the manure. My horses are kept outside, but have shelters.
