RECALL ALERT: Bartlett Milling Company Horse Feeds

On Oct. 31, 2014, Bartlett Milling Company of North Carolina issued a recall alert on some bags of horse feed distributed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

The feed may be contaminated with Rumensin, a feed supplement for cattle that can cause health problems or death in horses.

Products being recalled are:

  • 50 lb. bags of Bartlett Pasture Horse 10 Feed – Lot 288
  • 50 lb. bags of Cleveland Carolina Champion Horse Feed – Lot 288

Recalled bags of feed should be returned to the retailer.

  2. This needs to be put on the news .There are plenty of people I know who buy this feed here in my state and not all of them have a computer or laptop to peruse the internet

  3. Thanks to the horse gods some one is out there to warn us about the.recalls our horses are like our children thanks for what you do for them.
