I have yet to personally come across a horse who is this timid when it comes to water, but I know that’s not the case for everyone. Last year, Thomas Catterall posted a video on YouTube of a young lady approaching water while riding her horse. It went viral, and is gaining speed again. Seemingly a little afraid of it, the horse backs away from the water. The rider tries again, but only succeeds when she dismounts and walks with the horse into the small lake. He then proceeds to enter the water and splash his rider. Perhaps he just wanted to get a feel for his surroundings. Or maybe he splashed her on purpose for making him get in the water. In the end, we’re glad he overcame his water phobia.
