Growing up, my aunt was the one with all the horses. My parents would drive my brother and I up north to visit and we’d watch the horses – or ride them if we could talk someone into helping us with the saddle and everything. But her property wasn’t all horses. Dogs played a prominent part. As a child I’d marvel at how much like friends the two species seemed. Admittedly, I still love to see the friendship between horses and dogs.
The friendship between Contino, a horse, and Boss, a Doberman, is no exception. Boss likes to lead Contino around on their farm in Peru, while Contino gives Boss kisses.
