The Osage and Washington counties of Oklahoma began burning on Sunday and according to Newson6, the fires are still burning today. Fires in any area are scary and damaging, but add wild horses to the mix and it brings about another level of worry.
Luckily, the wild horses in the area managed to escape the fires and don’t appear to be in any danger. Newson6 reports that the horses are able to get to an area of land that has been burned already. A news pilot for the station, Will Kavanagh, was able to catch the horses’ escape on camera. Take a look: NewsOn6.com – Tulsa, OK – News, Weather, Video and Sports – KOTV.com |
Ranchers were nearby to help the horses cross the stream.
