If you’re anywhere near Lexington, Ky., make it a point to experience the light festival at the Kentucky Horse Park. Southern Lights is a popular holiday community event and fundraiser for the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation. Anyone can enjoy the holiday sites on a self-guided tour over miles of animated light displays. Additional attractions include a petting zoo, the Kentucky Horse Park Gift shop, craft vendors, local entertainment, the International Museum of the Horse, a model train display by the Bluegrass Railroad Club Inc. and much more! The annual event runs from Nov. 16 – Dec. 31, and the lights are on from 5:30 – 10 p.m. The entrance fee is $15 per vehicle.
