Sting Sings at Kentucky Track

Will Churchill Downs become the next concert stop for big name rock bands? Maybe not. But on the evening of July 14, lead singer Sting and The Police held a concert at the Louisville, Ky. race track. The Police are only the second band, next to the Rolling Stones, to play at the historic track.

As a side note, trivia fans might be interested to know that Sting has a special connection to Churchill Downs. The horse that won the 2005 Kentucky Derby, Giacomo, was named after Sting’s son.
