April 4, 2008—The upcoming 36th annual Budweiser American Invitational on Saturday, April 5, 2008, in Tampa, Fla., is considered to be one of the nation’s most prestigious show jumping events, with the best riders from around the world competing for a $200,000 grand prize.

The event takes place at the Raymond James Stadium, and among the invited competitors is defending Invitational champion Beezie Madden aboard Authentic, along with top American Grand Prix Association riders and the top prize-winning riders from the Winter Equestrian Festival.
