If you have relationship woes with your American Quarter Horse, then the American Quarter Horse Association’s new contest, “Team Wrangler — Fix My American Quarter Horse!” might just be the ticket to getting you back on track with your equine counterpart.
The contest is open to people who are AQHA members as of Sunday, March 16, but you can only enter online: Qualifying members log on to www.aqhamembers.com and describe what part of their relationship with their American Quarter Horse needs attention in an essay of 100 words or less. The selected winner will have Team Wrangler members come to their barn for a two-day training session to help fix the problem. Plus, the winner will be featured on an upcoming episode of “AQHA Presents” on the RFD-TV network and in America’s Horse magazine. Prizes for second through 10th place winners include “AQHA’s Fundamentals of Horsemanship: Step 1” and Wrangler apparel.
The contest ends Monday, April 7, at 5 p.m. CDT. Complete contest rules are available at www.aqhamembers.com.
