The 2007 World Championship Paint Horse Show Begins

Yesterday kicked off the 2007 World Championship Paint Horse Show at Will Rogers Equestrian Center in Fort Worth, Texas, and the competition is heating up. The show runs through July 7, with World Championship titles, prizes and cash valued at more than $400,000. The World Show is the biggest Paint Show to be held anywhere.

More than 2,000 Paint Horses are expected to gather over the next two weeks to compete in more than 180 classes, challenge events and sweepstakes.

The Youth World Show kicked the event off. Open and Amateur competition is next up. New classes this year include the Youth and Amateur Hunt Seat Equitation over Fences and Solid Print-Bred Reining.
