I also have 2 horses that are boarders and that helps with the expenses. I have fallen totally in love with 2 of my rescues. The Appaloosa is coming along very well and is very friendly but his pasture mate, an Arabian cross is having a harder time with it. You are right while some horses come around sooner, there are those that take longer. Every month that passes shows improvement though. I receive so much joy from it all. I recommend anyone looking for a horse to take a look at a rescue. They are wonderful.
