Horse people love Jack Russell Terriers, and Jack Russell Terriers love “helping” out around the barn. Dally, a six-year-old Jack Russell, shows that a dog’s role in the barn doesn’t have to be limited to greeting visitors and cleaning up after the farrier. Dally shows great talent as a professional rider, pairing up with her Mini Horse friend, Spanky, and touring the country with owner/trainer Francesca Carson.
“Dally would always sit and watch while I was training Spanky,” Carson said in an article published in The Telegraph. “Then one day she just leaped up onto Spanky’s back—on that day, their friendship really started.”
