after i watched the dressage humour i scrolled through and watched several of the rodeo clips. i am offended by the way these events were portrayed. there was a clip of a “supposed” phone call from a man calling about rodeo abuse. i am sorry but this phone call is a fake. whoever made the video just wants to make out western/rodeo people to be ignorant “rednecks”. this should never be allowed on a reputable website like this. it degrades horsechannel’s reputation as a responsible horse site. these videos should be removed.
Funny but true! A lot of riders will do a dry run without the horse, not only in dressage, but in other events! It’s a way to memorize the pattern and do it without over schooling the horse and haveing the horse anticapate the pattern.
