For most riders, the goal is to stay sitting more-or-less upright on the horse’s back. For trick riders, the goal is to find as many ways as possible to cheat death while hanging off the side of a galloping horse, flipping over his back or standing up on the saddle.
In this week’s video, trick riders at Equitana in Melbourne, Australia show that all it takes to put on a great show is a bit of courage, a specially designed saddle, abs of steel, and a fast but tolerant horse. Superhero costumes are optional.
