Cindy-I read when I can and ride when I think I can not. I enjoy your articles. I do not have much time to do stained glass, LATELY, as glass work came into my life before horses. How beautiful your work is--ahh,nicely done.
I can't draw for the life of me lol I've tried, it just doesn't pan out. But your mosiacs are amazing ^_^
Wow if you ever stop writing you can be an artist. I wish I could do mosaics like that. Have you done one of Wally?
I always draw horses. im 15. i just started riding a year ago, so i guess thats how i got my horse time. i can draw people, just not the face.
I like this article because it reminds me of when I was a little girl and loved horses so much that I would draw them even though I wasnt very good. I would always draw horses because I always wished I could have a horse of my own.
I'm on the same boat as you, Cindy... but you're right- there's no need for more humans! :) I've never gotten in trouble for drawing murals on desks, though- I just draw in my notes, which if the teachers see, they don't care.
Me? I'm a kid. Seriously. I'm 12. And I paint horses out of water colors. It is an extremely hard medium to work with because it is constantly smearing and dripping. I finally have finished my painting using tempera paint to cover up my mistakes. I have been riding since the age of seven and compete in hunter/jumper even though my barn is a dressage barn and I suck at it.
