i think wally does it on purpose...maybe he thinks the noises you make while you drag out the very heavy mats is funny!
Oh wow! We are fixing to have a brand new 30/50 6 stall horse barn built... I hadn't really thought the floors would need to be re-done under floor mats.... gulp! I won't be letting my hubby read this until AFTER the barn is done!! Right now my 6 horses live out in a pasture, with 2 run in shelters.... Sigh... But they're worth it! p.s. I just got a new horse, a sorrel overo mare, dark sorrel w/ bright flax mane and tail, 2 blue eyes, stockings... ooh lalala!! Her name is Shy.
Hi Jamie! Keep in mind that my horse property is fairly new. A few years ago, the land under my mats was a hill covered with sage brush. So I think part of the problem is that the actual ground continues to settle and compact. Hopefully, in a couple of more years, we won't have the annual mat dragging ceremony. So your husband can relax... for now.
