I'm so sorry, Cindy. My heart breaks for you. I hope poor Danny will recover enough to spend his days moseying around with your wonderful vet.
I am so sorry, yet so very happy for Danny that he found his own angels. He could have long ago been someone's dinner in France or wherever, and yet he still has a fighting chance. You go, Danny, and all the people who love you!
So sorry for you Cindy, but dang that horse has had lots of mysteries for you to uncover since you've had him
I TRULY APPRECIATE ALL THE SUPPORT I'VE GOTTEN FROM YOU, MY FRIENDS AND MY CO-WORKERS AT HORSE CHANNEL AND HORSE ILLUSTRATED. SINCE I'VE ALWAYS BEEN AN HONEST HORSEWOMAN, I GUESS I BELIEVED MOST OTHER FOLKS IN THE HORSE WORLD WERE HONEST, TOO. RIGHT NOW DANNY IS STILL 'OFF' BUT THE GEL CAST WRAP IS OFF HIS LEG AND ALL OF THE THICKNESS IS OUT OF THE FETLOCK. IF HE CONTINUES TO IMPROVE, I'LL BE THE FIRST ONE ON HIS BACK. TRULY, I CAN'T WAIT! THAT HORSE WILL ALWAYS HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT SOMEONE WOULD'VE DISCARDED HIM AT A LOW-END KILLER SALE LIKE THAT. SHAME ON THEM!
I hope that Danny continues to improve. He is an extremely lucky boy to have found you. Jingles to you both.
I'm sorry to hear about Danny's lameness but so ver sad to hear that you feel it's the end of the world for him. What if the tables were reversed and he felt that way about you?
