Welcome to Horse Illustrated’s weekly installment of the My Right Horse Adoptable Horse of the Week, offered in partnership with The Right Horse. Cinnamon is this week’s adoptable horse. Check back weekly for a new featured horse so you can find your #righthorse.
Organization: This Old Horse
Cinnamon is just a little spicy but mostly sweet. She is a 23-year-old American Paint standing at roughly 16 hands. She has done a number of disciplines, including dressage, jumping and trail riding. At her age, Cinnamon would make a great horse for someone just getting started in any of these areas. Cinnamon does like her food and is a bit of a hard keeper. She needs wetted grain/alfalfa pellets twice a day all year-round, which may need to be upped in the winter. Cinnamon is not a true beginner horse, because she can be a bit in your space on the ground (the spice). You need to be able to remind her of her manners. Other than this, she is sweet and lovely! Everyone needs a little spice in their lives—maybe yours is Cinnamon!
