Welcome to Horse Illustrated’s weekly installment of the My Right Horse Adoptable Horse of the Week, offered in partnership with The Right Horse. Fuego is this week’s adoptable horse. Check back weekly for a new featured horse so you can find your #righthorse.
Horse: Fuego, a 15-year-old 14.3-hand bay Arabian gelding in McKinney, Texas Organization: SPCA of Texas
Fuego is one of the alumni horses for the SPCA of Texas, but sadly he is back with them after his owner passed away. Staff is hopeful that he can find a new home that will be as good as his last one. He is a fancy little mover and always super curious about anything going on around him. He is easy to handle and does well with the team and vet, however he does get bossy with other geldings when mares are around. He is broke under saddle but will require an intermediate level adopter.
