Looking for a horse with the total package? Look no further! Zara has beauty, brains, and a wonderfully sassy personality. She came to Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in horrible condition with no mane or tail, an overgrown coat, and she was several hundred pounds underweight. However, the staff knew she was a diamond in the rough just waiting to be discovered from the second she arrived at the ranch! After implementing a feeding program with the help of wonderful veterinarians, Zara is looking better than ever! Her mane and tail are still growing out at this time, but staff still find her breathtaking! The ranch’s trainer determined that Zara has not yet been started under saddle and will require professional training to begin that process. She is still learning ground manners, such as how to calmly stand for the farrier, but she is quickly learning. This horse is won’t last long.
