The Right Horse Initiative is launching My Right Horse, an innovative web-based platform that connects potential adopters with available horses. This program simplifies the process of searching for and adopting a horse by collecting information on adoptable horses into one location and standardizing the quality of information, photos and videos for available horses.
My Right Horse stands apart from other horse search platforms due to its excellent user experience. Prospective owners will enjoy a clean, streamlined and mobile-friendly experience while searching horses by gender, breed, discipline, age, adoption agency and geographical location. This program will also continue to expand after launch and add additional agencies and their available horses.
“Adoption is a great option when looking to add a horse to your family,” says Christy Counts, President of The Right Horse Initiative. “Traditionally, a challenge for adopters has been the lack of centralized information on available horses and consistency in horse listings. This program eliminates that barrier and gives prospective adopters an easy and user-friendly way to find their right horse by being able to look at a large group of high quality listings in one place.”
My Right Horse is also designed to directly integrate with a WordPress-hosted site. Adoption organizations can install the WordPress plugin to their websites, making it simple to create and publish attractive, informative listings across multiple locations with one step.
