Living in a small(population=30,000) country town, people see horses quite a lot, so they were pretty good about slowing down and going around people riding on the road. The only people that ride around here are ranchers, though, so I'm inclined to believe that the only reason they slow down for me is because they're too busy wondering, 'What the heck is that thing she's sittin' on?' and wanting to get a better look at 'those funny pants she's wearin' :)
I currently live in Cheyenne, Wy, and we're planning a move to Alabama. I'm curious if there are any horse friendly towns there, kind of like Norco, CA, but located in the south...
