I remember I was looking at a beautiful paint gelding named Joe. We had a prepurchase exam with him where the vet did a flexion test. Luckily this was done or else we would have been spending a lot of money on him in the long run. It turns out that Joe was dead lame. As a matter of fact during the flexion test Joe actually fell on the vet. It turns out that Joe was hit in the head with a 2x 4 when he was younger which caused all these problems.
