The largest Racking Horse Show in the United States, the 2008 World Celebration in Priceville, Ala., runs Sept. 20-27 with more than 140 classes for children and adults in both amateur and professional categories. The Celebration ends with the announcement of the new Racking Horse World Grand Champion.
On Thursday, Sept. 25, there will be a Fun Show with pole bending, an arena race, broom polo, a ribbon race and an egg and spoon race. Prior to announcing the World Grand Champion on the evening of Sept. 27, children are invited to participate in the “Stick Horse” class. This event allows children to bring their own stick horse for friendly competition in the arena. Every participant receives a ribbon.

Cool! Wish I lived closer, and could come!
That would be a sight to see. And an even better ride.
It would be fun to be there.
Wish I could be there!
I live not far away and have been to a rodeo at that arena and I know somebody who won a national championship once.
