Horses can be trained to do just about anything… including working as a first responder for the NYPD. A miniature horse named Honor is starting his training at Gentle Carousel, a nonprofit specializing in mini therapy horses.

Honor will spend two years at Gentle Carousel training and practicing for his new job with the men and women who make up the New York City Police Department. His focus will be on helping to keep victims of crises calm and comforted, People reports.

The 8-month-old, 95-pound mini is already receiving attention in New York, perhaps foreshadowing how great he’ll be with people once he’s officially on the job.
