Welcome to Horse Illustrated’s weekly installment of the My Right Horse Adoptable Horse of the Week, offered in partnership with The Right Horse. Shady is this week’s adoptable horse. Check back weekly for a new featured horse so you can find your #righthorse.
Organization: Kentucky Humane Society
Shady is a 14.3-hand gelding who came to the Kentucky Humane Society in early March as a transfer from Georgia. He appears to be well-loved and looks a bit like a Morgan cross. Shady has been ridden western, English, and bareback in the past with several different riders. He would make a lovely partner for a variety of adventures, but soft hands and some dressage work would really bring out the best in Shady physically. Shady appears to be completely sound with great hooves and a wonderful willing attitude. Could he be your #righthorse?
